Every correspondent earns a retainer for their relationship with Just Gerald. In return, they bring us into the rooms, the bars, the eateries, and the experiences that make their part of the world worth visiting.

HOW IT WORKS
Every correspondent assignment is the same brief. Simple, consistent, and designed to produce a feature that any Just Gerald reader can use.
The room, the bar, the atmosphere. What does it feel like to be in there?
The frontage, the sign, the entrance. How does it present itself to the world?
The neighbourhood context. What kind of place is this in? What is around it?
People, groups, or no people at all — your call. We want the place, not a portrait.
THE SUBMISSION
Send your photos and a short description to [email protected]. Use the subject line format:
In the body: your 5 photos (2–3 inside, 1 outside, 1 parking/surroundings) and a short paragraph about the place — what it is, what makes it worth a visit, and what your best day there looked like. That is it. We handle the rest.
JOIN THE NETWORK
If you live somewhere interesting, eat somewhere worth talking about, and have a phone with a decent camera — you are already qualified. Just Gerald pays a $20 retainer for the relationship, and we handle publication, editing, and distribution. You bring the local knowledge. We bring the audience.
