Gerald Shaffer is a chef, writer, and the founder of Just Gerald Magazine — your field guide to the finer things in life. He lives in Roberts Creek, BC, on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, where he runs Shaffer Foods and writes about the days worth having.
Just Gerald Magazine started as a simple idea: that the best days ever are not reserved for the wealthy or the well-travelled. They are available to anyone who knows where to look, what to order, and when to put the phone down. Gerald has been looking for them — and finding them — across British Columbia, Europe, Japan, and the cosmos.
His debut novel, Gerald the Galactic Gourmet: Volume 1 — A New Chef in Town, is available now on Amazon. It is a work of fiction. All characters, species, planets, and culinary disasters are the product of the author's imagination. Any resemblance to real-life species, chefs, or questionable moral decisions is purely coincidental.
